George was formerly president of a multi-national packaging company with a turnover in excess of 800 million and responsibilities extending throughout Europe and Asia.
Under his guidance the business flourished in strategic markets with major European and Global brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola, Britvic, Glaxo Smithkline (Lucozade, Robinsons) Nestle, Danona, Carlsberg and Stella Artois to become market leaders. During this period of intense growth George was responsible for multi-million Euro acquisitions in the UK and in Southern Europe, establishing a leading position for the business in Europe.
Using his considerable experience at boardroom level and his understanding of corporate leadership qualities, George is responsible for overseeing the matching process between athletes and ACT Business Partners, as well as co-ordinating the strategic future development of ACT.
